Are you new to teaching?

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) often have to deliver PSHE education in their first teaching post and most teachers will be required to teach the subject at some point in their careers. So it’s vital that all teachers understand the basics.
  • Student teacher
    Taking place on our new online learning platform, this free course has been designed specifically for trainee teachers. Complete a series of engaging units, manage your own learning and take the course at your own pace.

    ECTs (Early Career Teachers), student teachers and teaching assistants can have the first year of individual membership for just £30. The membership will renew at full price thereafter.

    Develop the basic understanding and skills you'll need to teach PSHE effectively and gain our Certificate of Professional Development in PSHE Education. This framework is available to members of the PSHE Association.
