In your corner

Since we were founded in 2006 as a registered charity and the official national body for the subject, our mission has been to improve PSHE education for every child by supporting the amazing people who lead and teach it.  

People like you.  

All membership fees are reinvested to support you and other members, through: 

  • Producing and quality assuring high-quality, safe and effective PSHE/RSHE resources.
     No hidden costs. No snake oil. We produce extensively-researched, practical materials that work in the classroom and make your job easier. Learn more about what goes into our lesson plans. 
  • Providing flexible training, events and support that schools can trust. 
    We offer a flexible range of online (live and on-demand) and in-person courses on everything from planning and assessment to embedding statutory RSHE and getting Ofsted-ready.  
  • Staying at the forefront of PSHE thought and action.  
    We’ll help you to teach PSHE education that is fit for a fast-moving world. Our focus on research and latest evidence will ensure you have all you need to address new and emerging issues with confidence and authority.  
  • Making the case on your behalf for higher status on the curriculum and greater recognition of your vital work.

Through piloting our resources with member schools, answering member queries and delivering CPD training, we stay tuned into your needs on the ground, locally and nationally.  

We also facilitate networking opportunities with other members at our regional seminars, conferences and other events throughout the year.

They’re the leading national PSHE experts and are all ex-PSHE leads and teachers, so know exactly how to support you and your school.  

We also work with experts across different areas of education, safeguarding and public health to ensure your pupils benefit from the latest evidence and research in key areas including mental health, relationships and sex education, vaping, AI, and child financial harms.

    In line with DfE guidance, we also provide parent/carer copies of all our member resources, enabling full transparency with your school community and supporting you to build effective partnerships with parents/carers.

  • We're here for our members. No matter which membership type you hold, you can reach out to us Monday to Friday on info@pshe-association.org.uk and we will pass your query on to our team of Subject Specialists. They’re all ex-PSHE leads and teachers, so know exactly how to support you and your school.

  • If you hold a School, School Plus, or Group membership with us, you can invite colleagues from within your organisation to join your membership. 

  • As a member of the PSHE Association, you have exclusive access to live CPD courses on everything from planning and assessment to embedding statutory RSHE and getting Ofsted-ready. You’ll also have the opportunity to attend our conferences and regional PSHE seminars.
