About the course
PSHE education is the school subject through which pupils develop the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to manage their lives, now and in the future. Most elements of PSHE education are now compulsory in England.
When taught well, PSHE can have a big impact on individuals and society, but there are some basic principles to learn before you step into the classroom.
By the end of this course you will be able to:
Recognise the importance of PSHE education and the statutory requirements for RSHE in England
Understand core evidence-based principles of safe and effective PSHE education
Design your own PSHE lessons in line with safe and effective practice
Adapt your PSHE lessons, according to the needs of your pupils
Upon completion of the course, you'll have the option to complete an assessment and — If successful — gain a certificate of completion to take back to your training provider.
