Who teaches the teacher?

There are a range of people a trainee or early career teacher might learn from, including:

  • Subject tutors / lecturers
  • Class teachers
  • School mentors
  • Provider visiting tutors

And colleagues in these roles can work together to ensure that the practice they are sharing is current, safe, effective and allows trainees to learn well.

Ensure your own subject and pedagogical knowledge is up to date
