Will my membership automatically renew?

We offer an auto-renewal service for membership, which will automatically renew your membership on your expiry date, ensuring seamless and uninterrupted access to our resources, services and other benefits.

Individual members and Super Admins (for School and School plus memberships) can check their auto-renew status and opt out at any time using the steps below:

  1. Login to your account 
  2. Once logged in, click on My account on the top right
  3. Under 'Personal details', scroll down to the bottom. There should be a box titled 'Manage membership auto-renewal'.

Card auto-renewal

If you originally paid for your membership by card, your account will likely be set to auto-renew via card payment by default, and you should see a link saying 'Manage auto renewal' at the bottom of the box.

Click this link to update your card details or cancel your auto-renewal subscription via Stripe, our payment handler. Cancelling the auto-renewal subscription within Stripe will not cancel your membership, but it will mean that your membership won’t automatically renew on your expiry date.

Please note: If you have a School or School Plus membership, only the person who last renewed or paid for the membership by card will be able to view the auto-renewal settings for your school. If you are not sure who this is on your account, please contact us to find out. 

Invoice auto-renewal

If you originally paid for your membership by invoice, your account will likely be set to auto-renew via invoice by default.

You can check this using the 'Manage membership auto-renewal' box and click on the toggle to change your preferences, then click 'save changes' above to save your settings.

When the toggle is set to ‘on’, we will automatically raise an invoice for a year's membership on your expiry date and email this to the finance contact on your account. Get in touch If you’re not sure who the finance contact for your organisation is, or to change/update this contact.
