Our regional programme at a glance

Where you're based geographically can play a key role in how PSHE education is delivered within your school, local authority and wider region.

Through ongoing conversations with our members and other PSHE professionals based across the country, we understand how different areas each bring their own unique priorities and challenges for PSHE/RSHE. Our regional programme is shaped by what we hear from teachers and PSHE leads working on the ground, so that our support remains practical, responsive, and rooted in the real-world experiences of those planning and delivering PSHE at a local level.

Our regional programme includes the following touchpoints, designed to support you across the entire academic year:

Regional coordinators

Each region in England is supported by one of our dedicated Subject Specialists, who works directly with schools, local authorities, MATs and PSHE/RSHE networks to continuously learn more about how we can best support you and your local priorities in terms of guidance, resources, and training.

Some examples of their regional activities include:

  • delivering live CPD training sessions to individual schools, as well as groups of schools at city, borough or county-level
  • hosting termly network meetings for local PSHE/RSHE hubs
  • providing targeted guidance to local authorities on PSHE curriculum planning

Ultimately, our regional coordinators are here to help you address the most important local challenges affecting the children and young people you serve while ensuring safe, effective and high-quality PSHE education nationally.

Staff training for school groups, local authorities and MATs

We offer high-quality live CPD training sessions for multiple schools within the same group, including multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) and local authorities.

Training can be delivered as one-off sessions or as part of a longer-term programme across school terms within the academic year.

Attendance at your PSHE/RSHE network meetings

PSHE/RSHE hubs can invite us to attend and contribute to network meetings that they host at a local or regional level. This can include sharing the latest policy updates including statutory RSHE requirements, supporting PSHE planning and implementation, and leading discussions around PSHE initiatives and current challenges for your hub.

Please note: In addition to attending network meetings hosted by PSHE hubs, we also run our own online regional PSHE/RSHE network meetings in Autumn and Spring terms.
