The PSHE education curriculum covers all statutory RSHE (relationships, sex and health education) content as well as careers and personal financial education. The most effective delivery model is a sequenced, spiral curriculum that builds on prior learning as pupils progress through school. And like any other school curriculum subject, PSHE needs regular curriculum time – ideally an hour a week at least – and careful consideration when planning.
