With clear, practical guidance, this course covers how RSHE can support the safeguarding of children and young people, as well as how to respond and follow safeguarding procedures.
Taking place on our new Online Learning Platform, you can complete this self-led interactive course at your own pace. Hear from our Subject experts, watch animations and complete quizzes to check your understanding along the way. You'll also gain a certificate upon completion, which you can print or save for your records.

RSHE lessons can provoke strong feelings and questions from pupils. This course supports staff to recognise disclosures that may occur following RSHE learning — supporting you to respond appropriately, and follow the correct steps to ensure concerns are recorded and reported. You’ll explore what good practice looks like, what to say (and what to avoid), and how to stay calm and supportive while maintaining professional boundaries.
We'll also look at how to create a classroom culture that encourages openness and safety, and how to manage those unexpected moments with confidence.
Through using practical examples, this course is designed to help you feel more prepared to respond when it really matters.
