With the new statutory RSHE guidance in force from September, here’s our latest rundown of what’s available now — and what will be ready in time for autumn term — to ensure you and your school enjoy successful implementation.

Of course, there’s a whole summer break before then, and our team will be available up until the end of term and during the summer months should you need any guidance.

We’ll be in touch again next week with our final newsletter of the term, but in case we miss you, have a wonderful break over the summer and a well-deserved rest. And on behalf of all of us at the Association, thank you for all you do to make a difference to the lives of children and young people.

Ready in time for September

We have over 120 lesson packs (containing over 500 individual lessons) covering the full range of PSHE education/RSHE topics — from deepfakes to online financial harms — alongside a wealth of practical guidance.

Everything you need for September in other words, with much more on the way, including:

Changing and growing up Relationships Education lesson pack (KS1-2)

Help pupils to recognise and develop positive, healthy relationships, and prepare them for the physical and emotional changes that take place as they grow, including during puberty.
These lessons will support you to cover key components of statutory Relationships and Health Education, including the topic of puberty in key stage 2.

Guides to assessment in PSHE education (primary and secondary versions)

Our updated guides will take you through the ‘what?’ ‘when?’ and ‘how?’ of assessment in PSHE education — so you can assess pupils’ progress confidently and demonstrate the impact of your PSHE curriculum.

Emergencies lesson pack (KS1)

Our lesson pack for KS1 will support pupils to learn about who helps keep us safe and how to get help in an emergency, covering key 2025 statutory RSHE curriculum content around ‘Basic first aid’.

Physical activity lesson packs (primary & secondary)

These lessons will focus on building pupils’ understanding of how to be active in their daily lives, as well as how to overcome barriers and negative influences that might prevent someone from being physically active.

Image sharing on-demand course (primary, School Plus members)

Gain clarity on the discretionary basis for teaching about the harms of sharing sexual images as part of statutory RSHE at primary. This course will explore the links with online safety and safeguarding, ensuring you know how to approach this topic in an age-appropriate and safe way — including signposting to relevant research and lesson materials.

Naming body parts on-demand course (primary, School Plus members)

Understand the statutory requirements and wider safeguarding importance of teaching about body parts, including genitalia, at primary. This course will help you build your subject knowledge and confidence so you are ready to teach safe and effective lessons on this new content from September.

CPD Opportunities

Finally, remember to keep an eye on our live (online & face-to-face) CPD page to be first in line when new courses and dates are added for next term.
