A new chapter for PSHE education

In July 2025 the Department for Education released the long-awaited updates to the statutory guidance for Relationships, Sex and Health Education.

This replaces the current, 2019 guidance, though schools will have until September 2026 to adapt their curriculum to reflect these updated requirements. You can, however, start following the new guidance sooner if you wish to and are properly prepared. And we have all the training, guidance and resources you need to plan and teach RSHE with confidence while getting your senior leadership, parents and pupils on board.

We'll help you make sure you’re not just ticking boxes — but designing a coherent, easy-to-evidence PSHE curriculum that also covers economic wellbeing and careers

These statutory RSHE requirements cover Relationships Education at key stages 1 and 2, Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) at key stages 3 and 4 and Health Education from key stage 1 to 4.
