Course description

Building on our partnership with academics at the University of York, this course will provide practical and research-informed insights and advice – from best practice pedagogy to the latest psychological research and neuroscience – to ensure that you feel confident teaching about mental health and wellbeing. 

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore current trends in children’s mental health and wellbeing and factors that influence these trends.
  • Gain evidence-based insights into what works, helping you to empower pupils with practical knowledge, skills and proven self-regulation strategies to manage their attention, behaviour and emotions.
  • Build your confidence in teaching safe, effective and engaging lessons using our world-leading Foundations for Wellbeing curriculum. 

You will come away with:

  • A full day of high quality, interactive training led by members of our Subject Specialist team, the leading national experts in PSHE education.
  • A wealth of useful ideas, resources and materials to support the monitoring and evaluating of PSHE education.

Location: London (venue central, within walking distance from St Pancras-Kings X, Euston, and Russell Square stations)

Payment method: All places are booked per person and all delegates attending will be charged accordingly. We encourage payment by card, however if this is not possible an invoice can be requested when booking. Invoices may also be sent for late bookings.
