Our Subject Review Tool will help both new and experienced PSHE leads to ensure compliance and excellence this term and beyond. Evaluate your school’s PSHE education — including statutory Relationships and Health Education (primary)/Relationships, Sex and Health Education (secondary) — identify areas for development and plan next steps. Use the Subject Review Tool to assess your school’s current level of preparedness across three key areas:
- Leadership, Management and Organisation of PSHE education
- The PSHE education curriculum (including statutory relationships, sex and health education content)
- Teaching and Learning in PSHE education
Submit your response and you will receive an email suggesting some next steps and a PDF record of your self-evaluation. You and your school community can now reflect on areas of strength and identify next steps to optimising your PSHE education. Check the results of your Subject Review Tool reports against our Subject Review and Development Framework to prioritise areas for development and access links to a wealth of materials to help you. Then use our Subject Development Plan Template to record measurable goals and identify actions to achieve these goals.
