Course description

From September 2026 all schools are required to teach in line with the new statutory guidance. This practical full-day CPD course will support schools to review, refine and strengthen their PSHE/RSHE curriculum to ensure it is fully meeting statutory expectations and reflecting best practice.

You’ll receive practical, hands-on guidance and clear implementation checklists to support your school to confidently deliver the statutory RSHE requirements, including tools for curriculum planning, strengthening staff confidence, selecting high-quality resources and monitoring and evaluating your provision.

The updated guidance also places greater emphasis on topics such as respectful relationships, online harms, and change, loss and bereavement at the primary level, alongside misogyny, the impact of pornography and AI at secondary level. This course provides a wealth of engaging, adaptable lesson ideas to help confidently deliver these newer, more challenging aspects of the statutory content.

You will have the opportunity to:

  •  Explore the statutory requirements for RSHE and how to ensure consistent, confident delivery across your school following the  September 2026 implementation
  • Review, refine and strengthen your existing PSHE curriculum to ensure it makes the most of curriculum time to meet statutory expectation
  • Build confidence in delivering new RSHE content on emerging and complex issues

You will come away with:

  • A full day of high quality, interactive training led by members of our Subject Specialist team, the leading national experts in PSHE education
