This video game accompanies our Paying to Play lesson pack — supporting pupils to discuss how and why free online games make money from the people who play them, and think more critically about the games they might choose to play online.
Developed with Parent Zone, Bamboozle is designed to be played in a classroom environment as a teacher-supported learning activity — ideally on an interactive whiteboard or large screen — when working with a whole class.
Once the opening sequence of Bamboozle is complete, the levels can be played in any order, and a certificate is available to download after completing all levels.
The accompanying discussion guide (available as part of the free paying to play lesson pack) will guide you through the gameplay process from start to finish, and includes question prompts to aid discussion around adverts, in-app purchases and monetisation.
