Course description

It’s now a statutory requirement for primary schools to provide Relationships Education and Health Education. This statutory content – often summarised as ‘RSHE ’– represents the majority of PSHE education, and our engaging training will ensure you’re ready to teach it well.

This interactive online course will support you to plan and deliver high quality, inclusive RSE and Health Education within the context of a broader PSHE education curriculum. You'll explore areas such as:

  • Best practice in planning, teaching and assessing high quality, inclusive RSHE
  • The interrelationship between RSHE and broader PSHE education
  • Policy writing
  • Parental engagement

This course includes

  • Essential pre-course reading to prepare you for the training session
  • Three hours of high quality, interactive training led by members of our Subject Specialist team, the leading national experts in PSHE education
  • A wealth of useful ideas, resources and materials to support design and delivery of RSE and Health Education in your school
