Explore the principles of best practice PSHE education through a SEND lens.
Effective PSHE education can enable pupils with special needs to access the broader curriculum while helping them to keep themselves safe and prepared for life and work. The course will critically analyse the importance of PSHE education for learners with SEND and consider strategies for delivery.
We will cover how to use and adapt our PSHE Education Planning Framework for Pupils with SEND, using case studies from other schools, and signpost to suitable SEND resources you can use.
