Keynotes and practical workshops on the most pressing issues facing students, teachers, schools and society
All PSHE teachers, leads and other professionsals
We are delighted to welcome The Children’s Commissioner, Dame Rachel de Souza, who will discuss priorities for children, identified in her Big Ask survey and her current focus on PSHE education.
And we'll have an exclusive update from Ofsted’s Subject Lead for PSHE and RSHE, Roary Pownall HMI, on changes to inspecting PSHE education (including statutory RSHE) from September.
Revealing Reality —a research agency with expertise in young people’s digital behaviours — will launch groundbreaking new research into the extent and experience of nude image-sharing among young people, exploring in detail for the first time the inequalities in this experience, for example between boys and girls and for more disadvantaged children. We will also be launching PSHE Association lesson plans based on the findings, to help delegates tackle the issue in their schools.
As ever, practical workshops are at the heart of our online conferences and you can choose two to attend from a range of options. Delivered by our team of Subject Specialists, these sessions will cover everything from getting ready for Ofsted/ISI inspections to pressing and sometimes challenging issues such as consent, puberty and addressing health inequalities.
Our online events are lively and interactive, with plenty of opportunities to pose questions and engage. Over 2,500 members around the country attended our CPD courses and conferences in 2021. And 93% rated the training as excellent or very good.
This event is exclusively for PSHE Association members at £95 per person and we would encourage you to book promptly to secure a place.
