Our Curriculum Models present a gold standard, fully sequenced PSHE education curriculum that you can easily adapt and tailor to your pupils’ needs, supported by over 500+ quality assured lesson plans.

Curriculum change can feel unsettling or like having another mountain to climb. But our support will have you ready for RSHE changes in September and beyond, covering all new statutory RSHE requirements and essential economic wellbeing and careers education content with confidence in the curriculum time available.

And as the official body for the PSHE education (including RSHE), we’ve taken the time to get everything right so that you can hit the ground running with guidance and tools you can trust.

Our new Programme of Study and Curriculum Models are created with care by our Subject Specialists — the country’s leading PSHE and RSHE experts. This care means we go beyond compliance to ensure the best results for you, your school and most importantly your pupils.

We didn’t just tinker around the edges. We wanted to get this right, which has taken some serious time and effort to thoroughly overhaul our tools, guidance and resources.

The result is a much improved, simplified, approach with built-in flexibility that respects your professional judgement and reflects best practice.

Starting with our new Programme of Study for PSHE education (KS1-5), which sets out essential learning to prepare children and young people for life.

We have been responsible for producing the national Programme of Study for PSHE education since 2014 and are now delighted to provide a fully updated version for 2026.

This edition clearly outlines new statutory RSHE requirements and other essential content on Economic Wellbeing and Careers Education, combining it all into a coherent programme of learning opportunities for each key stage.

We have also just launched our Curriculum Models, which replace our old Programme Builders.

The PSHE education Curriculum Models present a gold standard, fully sequenced PSHE education curriculum that you can easily adapt and tailor to your pupils’ needs, supported by over 500 quality assured lesson plans on everything from mental health to deepfakes.

And at the core of this curriculum we have Foundations for Wellbeing (for KS1 and 2) and Wellbeing for Life (KS3 and 4): our complete, evidence-based programmes for teaching about mental health and wellbeing.

The best part?

This is all included in PSHE Association membership*, meaning this one subscription covers all of your PSHE/RSHE curriculum plan and lesson plan needs. And as a charity, we reinvest membership fees back into supporting teachers, schools and pupils.

You know your pupils best and will want a curriculum that meets their needs, so we offer an easy-to-use, high quality and flexible way forward that’s always mindful of teachers’ professionalism, schools’ limited resources and pupils’ need for highest quality, engaging PSHE education.

This reflects the PSHE Association approach, based on our experience and expertise and our trust in yours.

Together we can ensure a PSHE education curriculum that’s as engaging and effective as can be, for you and for your pupils, leading to lasting impact in their lives and in society.

*Please note, access to our Foundations for Wellbeing and Wellbeing for Life curriculums is restricted to School and School Plus members.
