These materials provide support for everything from engaging with parents on Relationships education/RSE policy development, to ongoing monitoring and evaluation. Updated assessment guides (now including ‘I can’ statements)
Our Guides to Assessment in PSHE education for key stages 1-4 now include ‘I can’ statements to support assessment of pupil progress and attainment. The statements have been developed from the Programme of Study for PSHE education, and provide a model against which to assess progress. Health Education: food choices, physical activity & balanced lifestyles mapping guidance
We are excited about launching a suite of KS1-4 Health Education lesson plans, slides, resources and teacher guidance for Association members in September covering food choices, physical activity & balanced lifestyles. In the meantime, our new mapping guidance will give you an overview of what the materials cover and allow you to plan this content into your schemes of work for the new school year.
